Sunday Setlists – 02AUG09
This post is part of Fred McKinnon’s Sunday Setlist. Just entering it’s second year, it’s a way for leaders/worshipers to share their Sunday Worship experiences with others, go check it out!
Our leader for our service is dealing with some personal issues and is taking some time off. We’ve had to adapt and are pressing forward but are praying for his quick return. While this definitely changes alot of things about our setup and sound, it also gives us an opportunity to explore and evolve our sound a little. This will also give me a few opportunities to lead in the coming weeks. Our set for the week is below.
- Song Of Hope
- Happy Day
- God Of Wonders
- Everything Glorius
Our Sunday morning leader Allan took over for the week. He’s a great leader and took everything in stride. In the end I think it was one of the better services we’ve had in a while.
Highs: This was the largest evening service we’ve had in a while. They actually had to open up one of the side wings that is typically closed in the evening. Great congregation participation! Several times I just wanted to stop and listen. Something about Allan and my vocals mixed perfectly this week, hopefully I can figure out what I did differently.
Lows: Obviously, we were missing our leader this week. Josh, we’re all praying for your quick return!

Everything Glorious is one I hope to introduce soon. Maybe by the year's end I can get to it.
We did Happy Day this week too. Always a great song for getting the people singing and dancing
Both songs are great!
Windbag – Everything Glorious has become one of our go to songs. Between that one and 'You Alone' we usually have one of the two at least every other week or so.
David – We just chaged up Happy Day this week to the Fee Band version. Not much different, but a few different transitions from the version we were doing. A little more upbeat as well. I'm actually leading in two weeks and I'm probably going to add it to my set then as well.
